Customised Recovery Service

Whilst we provide a standard level of recovery service for most customers, we pride ourselves on our flexibility and responsiveness and can also extend our services for those who require a more customised solution. For example we can increase the frequency of the snapshots we take (which would increase currency of data held even further), or change the service in other ways to meet specific risks.

Business Continuity Support

As an organisation, Plan B DR have extensive business continuity experience and we are happy to provide consultancy support to help customers develop the IT aspects of their business continuity planning.

Business Continuity Plan testing

We firmly believe that business continuity plans should be thoroughly tested on a regular basis and encourage all our customers to test their plans and their service with us at least annually. We can provide test invocations of services as part of a BCP dry run. If you would like to do a test please let our Support team know in advance so we can agree the level of invocation you require.

If required we can also provide technical consultancy support for the dry run.

Technical Support

Plan B DR can also provide general technical support for IT issues relating to the systems we protect. This support can range from general advice and guidance on IT management issues to specific hands-on system support in the event of staffing issues during a disaster.

Virtualisation consultancy

By the nature of our enthusiasm for and exploitation of virtualisation we have a very in depth knowledge of the technology and can provide support to customers ranging from general advice on its use to specifically helping with migration to a virtualised infrastructure.
