Plan B DR is an independent, specialist offering a virtualisation-based, fully managed disaster recovery service.
Plan B DR was started in 2007 to better meet the IT disaster recovery needs of mid-market and small enterprise organisations. We exploit server virtualisation technology to bring a dramatically new service level and price point to the market in a way no other organisation has yet managed.
Disaster Recovery provisioning will always have to be a balance between the cost of implementation and the perceived risks an organisation might face. Plan B’s service dramatically changes that balance by delivering a very high level of recovery (15 - 30 mins) at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods. This brings the prospect of a real disaster recovery capability to many more organisations and dramatically lowers costs for those already implementing traditional methods.
Plan B DR is wholly owned and fully funded by its Executive management who have many years experience running outsourced managed IT hosting and services businesses
Our Staff are specialists in running and recovering systems and are all vetted to BS7858 standards before being employed. Our resilient systems run from secure modern data centres in low risk locations that offer at least full N+1 facilities, and our processes and procedures are ITIL and ISO27001/2 compliant.
